The newly renovated lobby at Maui Kaanapali Villas is gorgeous. The travertine and granite provide you with the upscale experience yet with that wonderful feeling of 'Aloha'.
Along with the lobby remodel, the general store has reopened and is brand new. You will find just about anything you may have forgotten at the grocery store. It is so convenient.
The check-in desk is very smooth and then you are on your way to Maui Kaanapali Villa A402 to continue your island vacation.

After check-in, make your way to the elevators through the gorgeous gardens at Maui Kaanapali Villas.
Take a stroll to the beach or pool. The tropical flowers and plants are such a delight. They are always in bloom. The feeling of 'Aloha' is all around Maui Kaanapali Villas.

The lovely property at Maui Kaanapali Villas as you drive to your vacation destination on the wonderful island of Maui. In the evenings, take a stroll and enjoy the lit tiki torches.
Along with a $1.6 million dollar remodel of the lobby, the entire building has been painted and has all new outdoor light fixtures throughout.
Maui Kaanapali Villas A402 Area Information
Maui Kaanapali Villas is located in West Maui. The resort sits on 11 lush, tropical acres on world famous Kaanapali Beach. It is a beautiful drive from the airport in Kahului, about 40 minutes, much of it along the coast. Many activities are close by ranging from parasailing, snorkeling, whale watching, swimming, sunbathing and much more. The beach walk will take you to Blackrock for snorkeling but you can snorkel right in front of the complex. Blackrock is a short 10 minute stroll down the beach path. Swim or lounge at one of our two new pools. Have lunch at Castaway Cafe, located at Maui Kaanapali Villas, and gaze at the beautiful blue waters. If you are lucky enough to travel during the winter months, you will definitely see whales playing in the water. What a delight!
Grocery stores are very near Maui Kaanapali Villas. You will pass a couple on your way to the unit in Lahaina, Safeway and Lahaina Farms(Foodland). Just past the unit in Honokowai, you will find a Times Market. Long's Drugstore is also located near Safeway and is a good stop for your beverages and souvenirs(candy and such). Any of these stores are within a 2-8 minute drive from the unit. The store in the lobby will have anything you may have forgotten at the grocery store.
If shopping is in your plans, The Whaler'sVillage offers shopping for everyone. It has some very high end shops as well as shops that are reasonably priced. While there, you can have a beachfront lunch or dinner at The Hula Grill with your toes in the sand. You might go next door to Leilani's for dinner. Try Cane & Taro's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The Whaler's Village also has fast food restaurants if you are in a rush. They truly have something for everyone and the views are delightful.
Lahaina is located about 5 minutes south of us. You will find shopping and dining there as well. It has chain restaurants like Cheeseburger in Paradise, Ruth Chris, Hark Rock Cafe, and Bubba Gumps. You might want to try Kimo's, David Paul's Lahaina Grill, or Lahaina Fish Company. If you love burgers, you might want to try the Cool Cat Cafe. This one was a new find on our last trip. This restaurant is located across from the famous Banyan tree, a must see. Take a stroll down the beachwalk and eat at Duke's. The views are fantastic and the food is good too. All of these are wonderful choices and you are sure to find something for everyone in your party. If you want take-out(which we love), I recommend Honokowai Okazuya's Deli, ,Mama's Ribs and Rottisserie in Napili, and RoundTable Pizza located in a strip mall in Kaanapali. They are all fabulous with some great prices.
